KAIZEN Principles in the workplace

KAKUTE Projects and SIDO – generate results and value in the workplace by advancing skills, contributions and self-respect among supervisors and workers. Ms. Jamila from SIDO provided an introduction on KAIZEN principles, to the KAKUTE team, which is the ideal foundation to complement the current plan and continuous improvement, Lean, kaizen, operational excellence or talent development initiatives.

Kaizen embraces a multitude of ideas and actions focused on improvement, regarding the worker, the workplace and how work gets done. Through gradual change or iterative techniques, the training seeks to build efficiency, reduce waste, improve quality and make jobs safer and more fulfilling. At KAKUTE projects engaged and empowered teams are at the core of kaizen. These can be from a specific area of our facility or from among different departments like operations and program, and quality. Collaborative relationships between leaders and workers are vehicles for success. And we see KAIZEN as the powerful engine that consistently brings our teams to our target goals.

This program focuses on efficient administrative processes. The key goals are to strengthen the competitive edge in terms of quality, cost and time of services offered by the organization. Improving the work flow, effective communication and documentation of an organization are some of the effects of Lean processes that will help us. Thank you Madam Jamila and thank you SIDO-Arusha.
